The Defender CAS™ (Civilian Armor Insert) is available in Level IIIA and Level III. Defender IIIA ballistic resistant insert designed to withstand multiple shot impacts from handgun fire while the Defender III ballistic resistant insert designed to withstand multiple shot impacts from High Velocity Rifle Rounds. Extremely lightweight, both inserts are tested according to the National Institute of Justice and are designed and manufactured in the USA. Typically used by civilians, our inserts can be placed into existing backpacks, laptop bags, iPad cases, luggage or other cases of the user’s choosing. These inserts provide an economical and lightweight multi-hit protection option for civilian use at work, school or during other normal everyday activities.
